ABOUT THE ARTIST 

Diana Weeratunga is an artist based in Adelaide, South Australia, where she lives and works surrounded by the coastal beauty and quiet spaces that inspire her.
Her textured paintings are built up using both paint brush and pallet knife- evoking depth mood, and the quiet beauty of nature through oils and acrylics.

Originally from Sri- Lanka, Diana has found Adelaide to be the place that has nurtured her artistic journey.  Her work captures the stillness and emotional resonance of natural landscapes, with a focus on seascapes and botanical elements.
Her work will be showcased in her solo exhibition Nature’s Palette during the south Australian Living Artists ( SALA ) festival in August 2025.
